Terms & Conditions
By agreeing to purchase merchandise from this site you are agreeing to the
terms and conditions laid out within this section and this information will form
part of the contract between svenskelektronik.com and the customer.
All Merchandise can be returned for refund if we are advised in durable medium
within 7 days following the day you receive the goods. Credit will be applied to
the credit card which was used for the purchase but will exclude original
shipping costs which are non refundable. Shipping costs for the return of the
product are the responsibility of the customer. Opened software is
non-refundable, unless it is found to be faulty when a replacement will be made
of the original software. If you require to return the product outside of the 7
day period we will consider this and apply a restocking fee of 15% at the
discretion of the company . (This policy applies to personal purchases only and
specifically excludes trade or business purchases)
We occasionally accept returned items without the above conditions met for a
reduced price depending on the products condition, contact with svenskelektronik.com
is required to assess an offer for the returned product.
A "Return Merchandise Authorization" (RMA) number must be obtained from
svenskelektronik.com prior to the return of any material. The RMA number must appear
on the outside of the shipping container and on return paperwork included inside
the package. Always contact us prior to send us
any goods.
Orders received with payment will be dispatched either via Post Office first
class mail, or Courier (subject to product in stock) and will normally arrive
within 2-5 business days ALTERNATIVELY by choosing Next Day or timed delivery
the products will be delivered by Courier Next Working Day. Customers will
normally be advised by e-mail with the option to cancel the order for a full
refund if the product will not be available within this timescale. Next day
delivery order must be placed before 3pm
Q: What is your policy regarding warranty/guarantee?
A: All our products are brand new, in box, always with the original user guides
in English language (in most cases also in the main European languages). They
have a q year warranty issued by the manufacturers, that can be applied, in
most cases, to all the countries we ship to.
Unlike some dealers, when you purchase a new equipment from us, our Service
Department is able to provide you with outstanding technical support. Our
technicians have decades of cumulative experience in the Consumer Electronics
service field.
Please refer to manufacturers warranty (1 year) for information about
warranties. Equipment that are purchased new from us and qualify for warranty,
will be repaired at no charge by us or the manufacturer (DOA’s may be replaced).
Out-Of-Warranty, Late Model Equipment, wether the item was purchased from us or
not, we will attempt to service it, provided service parts are still available.
Before shipping your out-of-warranty items, arrangements must be made by phoning
our service department.
Q: Can I return my purchases if I am not 100% satisfied?
A: Yes, of course. After you have received your order you are entitled to return
your product to us within 7 days, without any questions asked. We will give you
a refund, but a cancellation/return fee of 15% will be charged. The item must be in the same condition
as it was sold. This money back guarantee is not valid for software.
In the unlikely event that a customer wants to return his
product, we will only pay the shipping to our warehouse, up to 10 euros. It is
up to the customer to make all the necessary arrangements for the shipment.
Please check with your local post office if there are any special restrictions
to return the product. In some cases you might have to use a courier, due to
customs restrictions in some countries.
Q: Are your units exactely the same as if I buy them in my local store or
dealer?
A: Yes. The equipments are all European Versions. There is no such thing as a UK
GPS version or Danish Garmin Version. We only sell original, genuine, brand new
equipment, that is exactely like the one you can buy in your local dealer.This
means that all the basemaps, detailed maps, power supplies (with both standard
2-pin plugs and UK 3-pin plugs), etc, will be 100% european. In fact the Power
Supplies are 100% compatible with both 220V and 110V and always bring adapters
that will allow you to plug your unit in Europe Mainland, UK and USA.
The keyboards from our phones do not have the printed
Scandinavian symbols visible on the keys. However these special characters can
be accessed through shortcuts, so no functionality is lost.
Q: Are there any customs charges to pay when I collect the goods?
A: Only if you are outside EU. Please check with local authorities.
Q: How can I pay?
A:You can pay using three different methods:
1. Using a credit card, such as VISA, AMEX, Master Card
2. Skrill
3. By wire transfer.
Q: Do you sell to companies?
A: We only sell to end user customers, so the VAT will always
be charged. Companies should deduct the VAT locally.
